BCE Northern is proud to partner with Capita in delivering North Tyneside Council’s bold vision for the transformation of Bedford Street, North Shields.  
 
The revitalized street will feature high-quality paving, mature trees, and enhanced seating areas, creating a more inviting and modern public space. The scheme will bring Bedford Street up to the same high standard as other regeneration projects in the town, incorporating new lighting, landscaping, and an extended pedestrian area. Vehicle access will be restricted to emergency and maintenance services, improving safety while providing additional outdoor space for café seating, businesses, and community events.  
 
These improvements form part of North Tyneside Council’s wider regeneration ambitions for North Shields and the Fish Quay, aiming to create a more dynamic and attractive town centre with smarter, more engaging public spaces.
