Lizard Lane & Reynolds Avenue

Our teams in South Tyneside have been busy delivering the groundworks elements getting two social housing schemes in the borough underway at Lizard Lane and Reynolds Avenue.

Once completed, Reynolds Avenue will be the first development in South Tyneside certified to the ‘Passivhaus Standard’ of ultra-energy efficient houses, minimising energy use and carbon emissions with triple glazed windows, high levels of insulation, south facing to maximise solar energy and built in terraces to reduce heat loss. The Lizard Lane development will provide 12 ‘A’ rated homes for energy consumption and will come complete with solar panels, thermal store and battery storage.
